Sam Rauch is an independent curator, consultant, and cultural producer based in New York City.
Since 2007, he has collaborated closely with some of the world’s leading artists to realize their most ambitious exhibitions, commissions, and site-specific installations, often in public space. Working with artists ranging from emerging to world-renowned, he has organized projects in virtually every conceivable medium and scale, while engaging diverse publics in NYC and globally in contexts including traditional museums and galleries, public streets and parks, iconic urban landmarks, and important civic sites.
Through exhibitions, commissions, performance programs, workshops, and publications, his partnership-based research, curatorial, and consulting work focuses on experimental, interdisciplinary, and collaborative art practices and projects that foster relations of kinship, reciprocity, care, and repair.
